Field Mark 006

Lewes Field Mark

Keep a little Lewes on the water bottle.

Field Mark 006 · Lewes · Delaware

Circular badge: Lewes waterfront at sunrise — the ferry standing off, a lighthouse, clapboard houses along the canal, a fishing boat lettered LEWES DE, a path through dune grass past a Cape May–Lewes Ferry sign.
Proof. Tagline reads “First Town in the First State.” NOTE — the badge reads LEWES DELAWARE on the arch and DELAWARE again below it. · Going back for another pass.

Not made yet

The design above is a draft and is going back for another pass. Nothing has been printed and there is nothing to buy.

Before this one is drawn again

  • It reads LEWES DELAWARE on the arch and DELAWARE again underneath.
  • "First Town in the First State" is true and is on every other Lewes souvenir in the state. The ferry is the thing only Lewes has.

About the place

The first town in the first state, on the canal where the ferry comes in. Historic front street on one side, Cape Henlopen on the other.
