Delaware Field Guide

Dog parks

Every Delaware dog park, on seven fields

Fenced? Size split? Water? Shade? Surface? Fee? Hours? Those are the seven things people complain about after they've driven there, and no existing guide publishes them together.

Read this first

Four of these are not fenced, which is the single most common way a dog park trip goes wrong — people arrive expecting an enclosure and find an open field. Two of them cost money. One is closed on Sundays. One is private and you cannot get in on the day.

Every card shows how many of its seven fields are confirmed. A field reading Not confirmed means we haven't checked it — it does not mean the park lacks the thing. Google's posted hours usually belong to the parent park rather than the dog run inside it, which is why so many of these still say not confirmed.

What's missing

We have found no confirmed public dog park in Seaford, Laurel, Georgetown, Smyrna or Bridgeville. If one exists and we've missed it,tell us. Banning Regional Park and the Limestone Road site are listed by other guides but we have not been able to confirm either exists as described, so neither is presented as fact.
